MG;

This web site, and its fishing reports, is a useful resource for visiting anglers...

The simple answer is get to Draycote.......it's been the best fishery in the Midlands all year by a considerable margin..

3 lb fish are common....and you'll get one in every bag !! 4 lb fish are nothing special !!

Rainbow Corner and Toft have been the places with slow glass and a Tequila booby on the point and red holo diawls on the droppers...

Or off the back of the islands that are now showing

saying that the whole place is stuffed with fish and just about any method is working.....

I've a season ticket for the Anglian Water Fisheries...but still pay and go to Draycote thats how good it is !

Grafham and Rutland are poor in comparison.. !

Cool Re: Draycote, Rutland, Foremark & Carsington

Yes Draycote is a must, how about Eyebrook too.

Rutland and Grafham have not been easy, you will get fish but its hard going.
Book first.

Fished Ravensthorpe yesterday, it was a dry fly only comp but its fishing well on other methods.

Hope you have a great time.

Eyebrook is ok....but can be very hit and miss..

Carsington I'm told; is not fishing that well (but i've not been myself)

I don't know anything about Foremark...besides it's a good way from the other fisheries mentioned

If you want some good/excellent consistant fishing at different midlands waters id fish the following...

Draycote
Elinor (45 acres -ish)
Pitsford

Hope that helps..

Foremark was fishing its head off at the weekend. Fish everywhere and taking everything from fry imitations, blobs, dries, nymphs and traditional wets.

Everyone was catching.
