I know the place gets a bit of stick for their mail order service but I usually visit in person when I'm up seeing our kid. Popped in to get some flies to add to my box for a trip to Skye, what a fantastic service from Pete (Regards to Grommit). Good chat and lots of great advice.

Pete is a great bloke. Havent seen him for a while but will hopefully catch up with him at one of the trade shows this year and have a cbit craic over one or two beers

Had a chat with a big fella, ex policeman who I believe has fished for the national team, another very nice guy (Just tried to chop his finger of filleting a fuish).

One of the staff came running over when he saw me opening my box "I love a peep at someone elses flies" I felt very proud when he said I had a good looking selection for Scottish lochs, I had to admit that they were shop bought and not tied by myself and mostly chosen with the help of this forum (and a bit of experience). The fact that he could even be arsed to come over gave me the impression that he loved his fishing. The devil in me thinks he may have been after a giggle though

3 jobs going as well with reasonable wages for retail, I bet they get some high calibre applicants.

Beer was mentioned actually - He asked were I got my gear from, I usually top up at GAC and my closest shop is Frasers (Great shop IMO) but last purchase was on-line from your good self. We swapped the obvious testimonials to your business, I mentioned NESA and fireman and Pete made a slight mention of Beer.
