Default The black loch nr loch glow

hi all,
I have fished loch glow alot and have always done alright but i have noticed that with the permit you can also fish the black loch witch is about a mile following the wall at the top end of the loch. has anyone ever fished this if so what is it like to fish with the fly and what size are the trout (presumably just wild brown) in it?????

Try the Rosyth Civil Service AC web site, that may give you some more info.
The only thing I've heard is that it can get a bit weedy at some point in the season.

i went up once for a look. loads of weed. i have heard there are some good pike to be had in it.

There's a good head of wild brownies in there, some big one's hanging around too; I fished it a lot of years ago and caught bu99er all, but they do rise now and again!
I was considering a trip to the Glow next season, and if my legs are up to it, the Black loch too.
