Hi folks, need a bit of help here if poss. Next year, probably easter, I have to visit wifes relations to see new nephew in Edinburgh. Now as thrilling as I find the prospect I thought I may venture out alone after day one and head off salmon fishing.

Any suitable places to try? I don't mind travelling up to say 50 miles radius. Reasonable cost is a consideration. I will be armed with a 14' 9/10 weight rod and a box of flies.

Any help much appreciated.
