.50 is going to be about 25lb?

I have been experimenting with these for chucking out pike flies, they work quite well, have been using 18lb daiwa sensor for a 2 stage leader, you would just scale down to suit depending on fly size. You will probably have line already to suit.

Kamoufil .50 mm is 09X, and the BS is 37.7 lb. Its not clear though, as the name suggests it camouflage coloured

Carpflier, the BS of a given diameter line can vary a lot from one manufactured to another.

nice one , just made a quick one easy isn't in it and it even turns over with me just flicking it over the kitchen table ...

edited , just made another using 20lb copolymer (0.40) , 4 foot furled leaving 2 foot of single 20lb , tied on 1 foot of 10lb (0.30) and i will tip it off with 4.4lb (0.20) . ill go have a chuck around tmoz and see what happens ..
