Default WaterAid - Rutland

Hi all,

I am short for Boatmen/women for the WaterAid event at Rutland on Friday (9th Sept) I would appreciate volunteers (3 or 4 extra) to go out with Novice Anglers or fill places in teams. Fishing is 10 till 5, briefing at 8.30 ish. Presentations at the lodge after with a free light meal. Should be done by 6:30-7 pm. Its a friendly competition to raise money for Wateraid.

If you can help please private message me with your contact details.

You can find out more about the event at awwaffic.

Thanks

Chris

This is a really good day out. I took part last year, I turned up expecting to be a boatman, but got to fish instead.

It is a really worthwhile cause, I think in the time Chris has been running the event he has raised over £100k.

Awwaffic raised nearly £17,000 for Wateraid. This brings the total raised in the last 10 years to £150,000.

I think this is a fantastic achievement and salute Chris Evans and his colleagues who organise this event.
