Default Drying you wading boots

Any tips on drying your wading boots out? after having the felt soles come off my Greys boots I successfully restuck them back on with Gorilla glue

But after fishing Saturday they are still damp, had them outside in the sun air drying and now in the conservatory but still not dry, at this rate the soles will come off again

Being wet should not affect the glue.but will encourage mould.I find my felt soles take about 1 week to dry properly.

As Jim say's being wet wont, or shouldn't affect the glue, Gorilla glue/Paratan is fantastic stuff, Paratan being my choice.
I just leave them in the garage and air dry them, but during the season mine don't get time to dry.!!

Don't let them dry, they will last longer.

I just hang mine in the shed. Let them dry naturally is best.

As above this time of year try not to let them dry out at all ,they will have the winter long for drying. PJ.

It's a good idea to dry them thoroughly if you are fishing different rivers to stop any spread of disease, but if you are just frequenting the same water not a worry. IMO.

I put mine in the airing cupboard between uses, wrapped in a plastic carrier bag with the top open. Wife is quite happy with it anyway. I used to put them in the conservatory but they didnt dry out very quickly and once found a centipede living under the sole.

stand them on a couple of newspapers to draw out the dampmess, and damp wont make your soles come off , its compression of silt etc in the felt that hardens the felt so they become stiff and dont flex aswell as when new ,felt should be cleaned after each outing with running water to take excess silt, mud, small stones etc out of it
