Can you buy a ea day licence in the lodge as I'm going there tomorrow?

Probably safest to buy here:

You always were able to, but there was talk of NWL only providing yearly ones, last year or the year before. However, I think I have seen people buying them at Grassholme, so maybe they didnt go through with it.

I don't think you can buy on site but if you have a look on the EA site in the FAQ section you could buy on line and show your e-mail receipt Environment Agency - Rod Fishing Licence - Frequently Asked Questions

Loop this is off Northumbrian water web site Northumbrian Water - should help you and if you listen to Howes fishing on Radio Newcastle BBC - BBC Newcastle Programmes - Howes Fishing he will have more upto date info
