Default line choice

Ok its me again with yet another rookie question.....
since im fishing lakes and medium to big reservoir...
If I want to put two lines choice in my arsenal...
off course one will be a floating.... and the second???
inter, medium or fast ????

If you intend bank fishing I'd certainly go for an intermediate.

Personally, I'd buy a fast sinker and get one or two polyleaders to experiment with in the inter range. If you need to get down deep, no point in waiting for a slow inter to drift slowly down and I don't think a fast sink polyleader works that well.

whoo! quick...
yeah small reservoirs and lakes yeah I do bank but where there is the boat available I always take it..... what sort of sinking level you think?? 1ips??

1''ps is classed as a slow inter.Fast is 5'' to 7''ps.As a beginner these fast lines can be a bit of a beast to handle.So a DI3 might be a good compromise.I think a fast inter would be best,But as stated a fast inter polyleader in 10' is a good idea.Then get a 3''ps line.
