Default Custom rod bags

Some time back I found someone to make me up cloth bags for the multitude of fly and coarse rods, poles, whips and net handles I seem to accumulated over the years.

I have to say the quality is second to none, she makes them to your exact specifications and requirements, all colours of cloth, to be honest am not sure why she bothers at the price she does them for. There is simply no comparison between hers and those supplied by many rod manufacturers.

To contact, she is called Ellan Lawrence and her email is ellan.lawrence@virgin.net

Just tell her what you need and what colour and she will give you a price including postage.

I have no connection with this lady other than numerous purchases of her quality merchandise.

The Pirate.

Thanks for that Stu!

Jolly decent idea as far too many cloth bags are an utter heap of tat and not worth wiping one's fundament with

Aye lads, she recently done me another bag for a margin pole that has three top kits and an extension handle, absolute work of art, every section perfect and fits like a glove.

Her coarse and fly rod socks are quite fantastic, stitching, piping and ties, all superb.

Yeh, I originally purchased a bag from her via ebay and have since just dealt with her direct, had her make me up loads of bags since, all top notch.

Am not sure how/why she doesn't sell more via ebay, the quality and prices are so good, although she probably has/gets loads of repeat custom direct, like from myself.

I just email her my requirements/specifications/measurements, she gives me a price and I pay her via paypal as gift, so no ebay/paypal fees for her, as she can't be making much out of this at all.

If you have rods/poles with different length sections, she designs the pockets specifically, so you don't end up with a short section stuck at the bottom of the bag.
