Default favorite fly coming into the cold weather?

Hi Guys,
Whats your favorite fly of choice coming to the end of summer for still waters?
Dries,sedges,nymphs,wets,lures, whatever?

Bloodworms, very rarely have one off the point when I'm not fishing dries.

Apps, marabou, or buzzer style - makes no difference!!!

As soon as the waters cool it'll be fry-bashing time so don't forget the fry imitations, zonkers, etc when the big boys start beefing up for the winter.

Still on dries, buzzers and sunk emergers at the moment; had a spectacular evening yesterday with the fish falling over themselves to take my duck fly, haven't had sport like it for some time. Coming into Sept/Oct I usually have great success on a sunk Daddy long legs (often copper headed).

As a matter of interest the big fish on my syndicate water are already well and truly on the fry.

Had good success yesterday on one of Buzz's elk hair and CDC patterns, it brought fish up, and tempted rising fish as well.

When it starts to get cold, Cats' Whisker, Rabbits and Hummies.

Nymphs, Bloodworm, just a red hook, Hare's Ear and, often a real banker, Okey Dokey.

Dries in the winter, usually small Shutlecock's.
If I had to choose one above all others, Cat!
