Default Tapered leader advice please

Can you recommend make/type of tapered leader for general stillwater use.

Using w/f 7 with buzzers & nymphs on fluorocarbon 4-6 lb 12ft

Thanks

Paul

Hi Rubahook

I'd go 33% 12LB, 33% 6LB, and 33% 4lb, all attached with Grinner knots for small flies.Total leader length 9'.0"

For a #7 and about 15 feet long;

Permanently attached to fly line;

1000mm x 50lb
600mm x 25lb
300mm x 12lb

Add this for buzzers;

350mm x 8lb ---- First dropper
1050mm x 6lb ---- Second dropper
1200mm x 5lb ---- Point

What is the advantage of a tapered leader for a team of buzzers?

Just the same as a tapered leader with any setup, it helps the cast turn over.

Thanks WF. I'm interested in how necessary it is, but don't want to hijack the thread.
