Default If you had to choose one of your outfits ... what would it be?

Following on from colinmac's thread "How many different makes of rod do you own", it seems that many of us are lucky to have quite a few sticks.

It got me thinking, if I had to choose one fly rod/reel/line setup - and I mean one, not one for Salmon and one for Trout or one for each line weight or different weather or whatever, just one rod/reel/line, what would I choose from what I own?

I'd go for:

Rod: T & T Helix 9ft 5 weight
Reel: Abel Super 4 in Pewter
Line: Rio Windcutter 2

Why: For me, it's the best balanced and most versatile setup I have - and it looks good too .

What would you choose from your stuff?

Keith

At present

9ft 5wt Greys G-tec rod
Sonik sk lite 5/6 reel
Barrio Mallard wf5f

Not my most expensive kit, but it seems to come together well.

I haven't got too many but the one I would choose is my Snowbee Diamond 10' 5/6wt, Leeda Profil reel and Cortland 333 6wt line.

I'd want the rod that Steve had today, with my line and a reel that my mate down the road had.
