I've been fly fishing now for a couple of years and understand how to find trout in the feeding lanes but I'm hoping there is somebody there that could give me some advice on fishing the deeper and slower parts of a river.
I'm from the west of Ireland and fish mainly on the river robe.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum Nesticle,its chock-a-block with very helpful people.You are the very man i want,iv being going to Balinrobe for years and would love to fish the robe,could you suggest areas to fish? Iv seen massive fish run it....JemoI like the name...its a cross between coffee and the bearded wrestler hee hee.
