Yes, there were some goos ideas in there.
Here is another one that may be to your liking. It is the sort of hopper you could use on the point of a 'washing line with a couple of droppers and, when appropriate, twitched back can be very successfull.

I seem to remember that Jeremy Lucas also did one in FF&FT, don't recall when but within last 4/6 months. I only remember because he reckoned a pink one was his best.
