am going to buy a 7ft #2/3 rod any reccommendation on rod choice.
am hoping to get a rod and reel combo at a reasonble price,

Terry, have a look at some of the Fladen or Shakey rods - they are very well regarded even at the price.

I can sort you out a cheeky wee machined pimped out red anodised beasty to bling the rod up

I've got a Shakey Oddyssey XT 7'6" 4 weight and will vouch for it. Lovely rod but you need a nice relaxed stroke. If you try to power it then forget about it.
