The Diamondhard tack-free kit from deercreek is the one to go for, as the light output is not only the right wavelength but also has a high intensity.

If you use a £2. torch, you'll get what you pay for, next to nothing.

All you need is a torch that has the right wavelength 395nM. Mine cost $6 and works like a charm:

21 UV LED Ultra Violet Black light Flashlight 395 nM BK | eBay

dont bother with bug bond and all there gear

Get Mr Bond half the price off Bug bond and just as good tack free after zapping it and stays clear aswel (had it tested by a very well respected fly tier and he agreed)

you can also get the "bug bond light" for $11 instead of the £37 they try to sell you it for.

Steve, the "one Deercreek are flogging" comes direct from the manufacturers. So when purchased that way, rather than in singles, carriage, import duties, exchange rates, bank/paypal charges, V.A.T. labeling for health & safety, advertising, battery, postage subsidy. etc are paid.

The cheaper of Bugbond's torch's can be purchased for $1.99, I see they retail at £15. + p & p.
