Default Grafham tomorrow

Anyone know how Grafham is fishing? Got a rare opportunity to go for an afternoon tomorrow and was thinking of taking a boat out (read - fed up at work and taking a last minute day off to retain my sanity). Anyone fished recently and have up to date info on methods, areas, depths, flies? Any info would be much appreciated as it will only be my second trip there this year and I'm a bit out of touch.

Cheers
Tom

The most productive method from boat and bank has been to carefully explore areas close to the shore with nymphs on floating lines or slow sinkers. Successful patterns have been hares ears, diawl bachs and crunchers accompanied by shrimp patterns. In contrast, some success has been achieved in the boats using a Di3 with flashy patterns over deep water, particularly around the B, K and G buoys.

Although good results have come from the bank at G buoy, Marlow Stones, the Willows, the Dam, the Seat and Sailing Club Bay other areas such as the Stumps, Hill Farm and Church Bay may be worth exploring. The more settled weather forecast this week should improve prospects.

off the anglian water reports, but its fishing hard
