Default Where to fish where to fish! (bolton area)

Its all in the title really.

Not been fishing long and only been to 2 fisheries,

1 - Curleys - No success, not too happy there tbh.

2 - Penine Farm - Been twice had 1 fish :-) happy days.

Im off work tommorrow and after somewhere else to go. As im new fish in a barrel would be ideal! :-)

Only really done stillwaters and willing to travel 1 - 2 hours max.

Any hints?

Thanks!!!!

Maran Lakes, havn't been for a while........ but there's usually a few fish about and it's not expensive .

I'd have a ride over for a few hours.

Lots to chose from in the area and probably 20 within an hours drive.

Have a look at Fly fishing venues in the UK - Over 650 places to go fly fishing in the UK for starters it might shorten the list a bit.

Its a shame its not next weekend and you could have joined the Lancs lads at Stocks.
