Well.....
I bought the 11ft for a bit of a gas. I got it for £25 for goodness sake, it works well as a switch rod, double / single handed. Quite light and bangs out a hell of a line - overhead or roll. I used it yesterday for 5 1/2 hours of Salmon fishing and it coped so much better than my double handed rod ever did in 'tight country' - however much of that was down to the line that I got for the rod. If I had
actually (

) hooked a salmon I think it would have eventually coped but it isn't the stiffest of rods so it may have taken a bit of time
A mate thought he would try a 10 ft version - It isnt a switch rod - it just has a stumpy little butt end and cant be fished double handed.
The 11ft 7/8 wt goes nice with a Snowbee Switch 400 grain line. If that is too pricey a Greys GRXi WF9 Floater loads it very nicely too.
