Thumbs down I would like to thank...

...Whoever it was who dug a hole near a style I use to get to the river, they'd covered the hole enough to make the surrounding area look like there was nothing amiss, I found out the hard way, I put my foot on to the hole which was about 18" deep and lurched forward, apart from scratching my rod badly, putting holes in my hands where I grabbed for something to steady myself (it happened to be a barb wire fence), I damaged my false leg, I've basically broken off the top four inches and smashed the locking mechanism that keeps it on, it took my 25 minutes to get back to the car. My stump has swollen up so much I can't get my spare leg on, so it looks like I won't be fishing for a while.

And don't get caught legless in the car for goodness sake, Alan - you will loose your license.

I know it's not a laughing matter , take care and I hope you recover soon.

No, nor me. Sounds almost as if you were being deliberately targeted. The b******s!

Sit down, take a glass of cool milk and tie some small spiders, while litening to some soothing music, this will help you relax.

I read another of you posts a month ago or so saying that you were glad to be back fishing, now this!!!
