Is always weedy this time of year, especially east end, is normally fishable at west end from start of nature reserve boundary up and into the first footpath bay,(is a real hotspot last couple of hours) but you will have to get in upto your waist!
aint been down for a look for a few weeks so cant promise, but over the years this section has always been fishable this time of year.

bert

Is the bit you mean from the wall at the end of the nature reserve at the west side to the first bay where the bench is??? as this is where i think you mean and i have fished there alot and found it to be very hit and miss and i guess the shallow water at the east end where all the boats always seem to be is a no go because of weed???
Regards,
Tom
