Wich Tippet/Leader?
Hi All
Advice needed.....Help Please.
I have noticed over the last few weeks that when fishing a dry Fly or a small buzzer underneath the much debated Indictaor that my tippet between the fly line and the Indicator is floating, even though i use Dick Walker's leeda sink.........
...I believe that most fly anglers prefer this and only tend to treat say the last 18 inches when fishing a dry but when fishing the indictaor i prefer to have the leeda between the fly line and the bung sunk under the surface, just presonal preference.
The questions is what tippet do you knowledgable anglers use when:
+ fishing a dry fly
+ fishsing a indictor, do you use a different tippet between the fly line and the indicator and the indictaor to the fly..........if so what do you advise.... brands/polycarbon/co-polymer etc.
+ are certain brands of tippet known to sink better than other's.
+ does the warmer weather create a film over the surface making it harder to sink the tippet when fishing the above methods
+ Could the use of a furled leader assist in fishing the dry/indictor.
Please help.
