I'm from Manchester but taking a friend from London fishing. She's not keen on too long a drive and wondered if you could recommend anywhere that's not the usual stew pond, put and take kind of place. I've found West Hanningfield which looks good but if anyone has any places easier to get to in the SW of London it'd be much appreciated!

Halliford Mere in Shepperton if you want to put them back.

You can always get on the M25 and get off at Wisley, then go to Albury near Guildford, bno catch and release here.

Syon Park is shut until the end of the month, but that is catch and kill.
