Question What fly/flies to use when snails are in the menu?

Hi guys, fished Barrow tanks last night and had a ball, best ever session there ended up taking 11 i had to pinch myself.
Anyway tried spooning the fish i kept but could get little or nothing from them On gutting them they were rammed with snails.
What patterns would people recommend when snails are being munched?
Going again on monday so may just try the suggestions out
cheers jon

Something like a coch-y-bonddu or even a heavily tied Diawl Bach?

One of the early floating pattern devised by Cliff Henry, cork with bronze peacock herl over it. Can use black foam these days.

Thanks guys, all my flies that were working had black on them even if it was the hackle and tail, but they were nailing the black booby at times to. I have got a floating snail (think it's dyed deer hair?), i might try that on the point on monday if the fish are high up.
