Hi arjxh56
I am puzzled KWP has 12 lakes that can be fished. Are they only coarse fish lakes?

All lakes at KWP are coarse only.
Nearest fly lakes are Fisherwick ( Lichfield ), or Buzzard Valley ( Drayton Bassett nr Tamworth ).

Thanks guys...
I will have a look at your suggestions and see what tickles my fancy!

I was kind of tempted to fly fish the lakes for course fish just for the challenge in the evening? I have a few flees that would tempt the pike, perch and possibly some of the carp?

I'd check with the rangers first before fly fishing the lakes.
Kingsbury gets very busy with walkers, cyclists, bird watchers, dogs, etc, and the chances of hooking one of them on your backcast are pretty high...

Draycote or formark if your after a ressie would be my first choice from kingsburyim 20 mins from kingsbury.
Give me a shout nearer the time if you fancy a boat session on one of the above.

I hear, but haven't seen, that Fisherwick trout lake is much reduced. Need more space for the big carp I suppose.
