Default Bubble Lines

Hi

I fished Bewl on Sunday and found it hard going.

There was a bit of a scrum around the bubble lines and judging by the fish coming out there wasn't suprised.

My question doesn't relate to why bubble lines work. I understand that.

All were fishing floating lines and it looked like they were fishing a small white single fly. Any ideas what that fly may have been.

What's your favourite appraoch when fishing bubble lines? And would you view it as bad practice to continually use your engine to keep your boat in position when a number of fellow anglers are fishing the same area (moored to buoys)?

And on a final note......Bewl is a good looking water with many areas to explore and fish. However, 99% of the boats seemed to focus on a small area. Any of you fish Bewl on a regular basis and can confirm, or otherwise, that this is standard over there?

Cheers

Fazzer
