Default Rollie Polie

I forgot to mention that when I was at the game fair there were a couple of chaps trying to flog this contraption called a Rollie polie or something like that.
It was being endorsed by Iain Barr, and it was meant to have doubled his catch rate.
Anyone else see this?
I also thought the guys selling it were a bit pushy and offish when I said it wasn't for me.
Thoughts guys.
Mike

Fully appreciate it could benefit those less fortunate but whilst I have feeling in my arms and hands, it wouldn't be for me.

Amazing how well this retrieve works, whether it be for wild or stocked fish. Constant speed retrieve, how many here have ever hooked a fish whilst reeling in? Not too sure about this contraption though.

Yes that's it the future of fly fishing, cutting edge.
Not for me either, would just clutter up the boat and wouldn't be legal in comps.

Poor old Iain having to put his name to such stuff, but we have to make a bob somewhere.

It'll never catch on with the able bodied. I can see it could help those with arthritis or disabled in some way.

Didn't get to the price, as I say it wasn't for me so did't stay and ask.
