Probably best to hire a boat on the Killarney Lakes. If you're not familiar with the lakes, you might consider a boatman/guide as well. Some local guides and info here

Lots of little mountain lakes in the Caha Mountains as well, with multitudes of small (8" - 10") browns in them, many of which will never have seen a fly . Access info in Peter O'Reilly's book 'Loughs of Ireland'

Fish Cloonee Lake near Tousist past KenmareLakes are not too big.The Lake Hotel has boatsSize 14 Olive patterns should do the trick.Ask for advice in OHares shop in Kenmare. They have all the flies and will give the best advice.Dont spend all the honeymoon fishing or ther may be a divorce in the offing.Enjoy

The trout in Killarney,L. Leane are free rising and you dont need a boatman to find them, unless you have no experience handling a boat and engine on a lake. Not sure when you are coming over but between now and the end of September any nice day with a bit of cloud cover and a wave will bring fish to your flies.
As stated there are numerous small lakes in the mountains and its worth buying an Ordnance Survey map of Kerry and you might find a few hidden jems.

A boat and engine is apprx 55e a day. There is a guy that rents boats from beside Ross Castle in Killarney but they are shoddy at best, someone else might know a better place or the place you stay may advise you.
Most of the rivers in Kerry are spate streams and belong to clubs. The Flesk flowing into Killarney has good fishing as late in the year trout run up it from the lake, you might have to ask locally about permissions for Trout fishing.
