I MUST SAY THIS WAS A BIT OF A TAG TEAM EFFORT, I HOOKED AND PLAYED THE FISH UNTIL I THOUGHT IT WAS NEARLY READY FOR THE NET, I THEN GAVE THE LITTLE GUY THE ROD AND TOLD HIM TO HOLD ON TIGHT, AS I WENT INTO MY BOX TO GET THE CAMARA FOR SOME FISH FIGHTING SHOTS, I JUST HAPPENED TO LOOKED UP AND SAW THE FISH NEARLY PULLING THE ARAMS OFF HIM,LOL AND HIS WEE FACE WAS A PICTURE. SO I NEVER GOT THE ACTION SHOTS BUT INSEAD I JUST HELD ON TO THEM BOTH.IT WAS AWESOME!!!

ZANDEE BOY IS ON FIRE JUST NOW I WILL JUST HAVE TO MAKE MORE OF A EFFORT IN GETTING HIM OUT...

HOPE YOU ENJOY

WILKIE

Hell's teeth - the lad's a fishing god!
Brilliant pictures and some absolutely cracking fish - tell the wee man well done from me.
Great to see youngsters getting into our wonderful sport.

Hell's bell's Rook, any chance he could take me fishing, the lad's a fish magnet.
All down to those eyes if you ask me.

You must be so proud,my 3 have all grown up now but they have given me 3 grandsons and a grandaughter, the oldest is 7 and has a few carp over ten pounds to his name. I have just purchased a 4 weight rod for him so his first trout wont be long

My little lad was 2 years old at the end of June and I thought it was the ideal time to introduce him to the noble art so... suitably equiped with a 2m whip and a pint of maggots we went to a nearby tributary of the Gt Ouse. Absolute magic!
The only problem is that now, whenever he sees me getting my gear together, he wants to come too and kicks up a real stink when he can't!

Priceless, I started my 2 older lads of with whips on the Fens. Rarely got much fishing done because they were catching frequently and needed help to get the fish off the hook. Great days indeed
