Default High Lakes in the Ogwen Valley

I'm off to Snowdonia in a couple of weeks time, just wondering if anyone's got any experience of fishing Llyn Idwal, llyn Bochlwyd or Ffynnon Lloer. Is fishing from the bank OK, or do I need to take waders? Recommended 'local' flies if any?
