Default where to fish around Preston / lancaster tomorrow?

My Dad's coming up tomorrow and is fetching his gear for an afternoon / evenings fishing. Everytime he does this normally turns into a disaster and the fishing isn't great, at whichpoint he waxlyrics over how amazing it is at Arnfield (granted it is good - just a tad dear) and we should go there. So I'm after suggestions of somewhere to try tomorrow, we've fished at Fylde was hot & not productive, fished at Oak Royal, baking hot & he blanked. Fished at Barnsfold (which I keep telling him is great and my favourite venue) and it was blowing a gale and cold and he blanked. Fished at Cleveley Mere and he quite liked it, catching a couple when it was freezing cold.

How are any of the above fishing at present? Other options are Bank House and maybe Curleys?

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike

Afriend of mine, who lives in Lancaster, has recently been to Bank House and did rather well. I believe it's wise to book if you're going due to its small size.

The bottom stretch of the tickled trout section of the river ribble at high tide (09.20am or 7.05pm) and up to 4 hours after.
Minimum 10lb leader and an orange zonker or Minkie.
Hold onto your hat!!!!!

Hi Rod

Who has the rights to the stretch of the Ribble you're referring to?

MR Tickled Trout!!

Seriously..... You go to the new garage near the bridge on the A59 into preston and pay there. Car park at the rear. Only the bottom 200yds or so is fly water but its well worth a go.
If you dont hook em youl see em.
