took a trip to my local river today expecting the water to be low as it normally is, haven't had any real rain fr about 4 days now but it was really high and very coloured. I tried everything to tempt a trout but everything failed until I was just about to leve and I thought I would try a deep pool that normally holds a few fish. set up my cast with just a single gold head olive nymph and after three casts I was into my biggest fish I had caught on this river or seen anyone else catch. another few casts and another jus a little bigger. If I didn't lose that nymph on the next cast it would have pride of place on my mantle piece. life saver. what's everyone else's "when all else fails fly"

It would be a grhe with gold bead and spiders these have saved me on many outings from having a blank day.

I have caught more fish on a "coylers nymph" than i care to count, and from reservoirs to small waters its been a winner and my expectation of a take increases everytime i put one on.

Any chance o the dressing or a pic ? or both .
