Recently spotted on US Ebay a rod that I'd been looking for, hard to find in the UK new but with no chance of obtaining a used one. Contacted the seller who refused point blank to ship the rod outside of the United States. Out of desperation I contacted Fred and explained the situation. Fred immediately offered to take delivery of the rod, if won, and to change labels on the packaging and transship on to me. He also trusted me to pay for the shipping after he had paid it himself. Anyway, all went according to plan and the rod arrived with me yesterday morning. Just like to thank you publicly Fred and say that would love to reciprocate if you ever needed. Thanks, Tim

There is only one Fredaevans. I've got E-mails from this man that I should frame and put up against the wall. Sadly due to a million things to do I cannot keep regular contact with him (nor with the forum). But he's my man (so to speak)!!! And this forum stays the best by far. It's men like Fred that made it this way. Thanks for that!!
