Default 8ft/14 weight?

Saw one of these on fleabay, what would you use an 8 ft 14 weight for?

Just out of curiosity really...

Marlin and the like... 'lifting' fly rods.

I have an 8' #14 Sage Xi2 somewhere, use it for pike nowadays.

I use 'roll eyes' to look up at what I am commenting on - ie looking at the link to indicate thats what I mean by 'there you go'.

I detect that it must have a more sarcastic conotation as well not intended
