I have several rods that I would put in the best rod position; but I couldn't chose just one of them! Although, it would certainly be a through actioned rod!

Are we talking cane or carbon & fresh or salt ?

Any trout rod used in any situation.

Personal opinion... Sage (Have had Loomis and sold the lot)

Unless you had access to rods from all manufacturers I think this is a question that can't be answered. Sage, Loomis and other high end spec rods are out of my price range so I've never tried them.

As has been said before one man's meat is another man's poison a rod that I like and think is the best could be considered utter rubbish by someone else.

I have rods by Daiwa, Shimano, Airflo,Wychwood Scierra and Guideline. My own personal favourite is my Guideline 9ft 5wt which is my first choice weapon when conditions are suitable for its use.

If we can factor in 'Value for Money', Vision have to be way up there
