Default How does yours dangle?

For you river fishermen out there, I just wondered how many of you carry your net low on a belt at the hip, or high on a D ring on your back? Is there any advantage of one over the other?

Ive been thinking the same thing. My greys net was attached to the D-ring by its handle,it was forever coming off(catching vegetation or in deep water the current would pull it off). Some how i lost it on my last trip to the river,i presume the plastic clip snapped..Anyhow,the next net i buy i will be attaching it to the D-ring by the rim of the net....easier to grab the handle that way too..hope this helps.

Mine dosen't I hate nets suspended on my back or belt. I prefer to carry mine separately. I'm a stillwater fisherman but if I was a river fisherman, and had to wade, I guess I would be obliged to carry one on my back on a "D" ring.

I have one of these that hang from your belt. They automatically spring into action when withdrawn from the holster. No more getting snagged on riverside jungle. Not cheap, but in my opinion, well worth shelling out for

D ring on my back. Magnet attatched to the rim. Tried it on my belt and it got attatched to brambles, fences, gates-you name it . Must say though my first back magnet set up was pants, couldn't find the mag for the life of me, always waving the net around behind my back searching for it.

Then I bought one from sunkistbob, he sells them on here. Aha...easy-peasy finds it instantly everytime. Cheap as chips and worth every penny.

Chris.

If im wearing my vest pack i attach my net to the d ring on the back but if if im not wearing my pack i attach it to a magnet on my wading belt. It doesnt matter where i put it though, it still catches vegetation.

On the back D-ring by the rim, the handle dangles at just the right level when called for.
