Evening all, I have just purchased a set of the above and was wondering if anyone has "studded" the supplied rubber sole?
They come with both studded felt and standard rubber treads- which will be lethal on the rock
Measured a Simms Hardbite stud- and they are too long, any suggestions?

You can buy studded klingon guide soles. Can't see how you'd stud the non-studded version, too thin. $US35ish but Guide model on close out so check US ebay.

Hi Ade, I have these boots and failed to get studded soles in this country. [try Fishtec] I ended up buying some from the USA, cost me about £35 including post and taxes etc. I think there is a new version of Korkers out now with a different sole fitting so be careful. I think there is a UK distributer but dont know who it is.

The distributer for these is Fordham and Wakefield but I would not bother going through them because I waited 6 months to be told they did not have any.

I ended up buying them from the good old USA.

I recently got mine from flyfishusa, but their policy is to send via Int. Express which works out to be $36 postage! Vat and PP fees means you pay more in extras than you do the product. I would try and see if they would send normal air mail which would work out cheaper, and also likely come in under the import duty radar.
