I am looking for somewhere online that sells a good selection of well tied flies. both my local shops have a decent selection but are very limited in different sizes and colours. does any1 have any suggestions

Hi Fulling Mill flies are first class and they do a large selection of flies. Get in touch with them for a catolouge,and it will have a list of people who sell them.
or look up Sports Fish as they have some of them in stock
