Default Damsels are on!!

Hi All, Fishing my local water, Ellerdine Lakes yesterday and watched some very smashy rises.

I was using Hoppers and getting some response, though now in hindsight I shoulsd have sussed this earlier.

The fish were chasing something just sub surface and were hitting these hard. A bit like porpoising really (No Sarky Comments about Dolphins Please).

It was only when I got home and in recollection to last year, that I got to thinking about Damsels. These animals are prolific at the moment here. Does anyone have a good tying?

Best Regards

Stuart

Try an olive nomad- get Garry to show you one if you're not sure of the tying. Are you sure it was damsels they were on? There are a lot of pinfry around at the moment.

swimming damsels look very much like pinfry so a light green damsel should suit both options.
