You could try this

Blairuachdair Pond
Rainbow trout. Fly only - 4 fish limit. Bank fishing only. Close to Blair Atholl. (No Sunday fishing). Blair Atholl Post Office for tickets...

The Tilt runs into the Garry there. Follow the Tilt down and go down the way from where it runs in. There a few good flats and pools in front of the golf course down to the motorway bridge. As long as you are fly fishing for trout I don't see it being a problem with a permit.

This might help.

Blair Atholl - accommodation guide and tourist information

There is a PO on the Tay system so you will need a permit to fish for trout.

As Sandy say's.There is a PO on the tay system, fish without a permit at your peril. The baliffs are very vigilant.

Thanks for the advice guys, I've had a closer look and realised the Tilt runs right past the caravan park, so might manage a couple of hours each night if i'm lucky

The river bombs through there and the banks aren't ankle friendly of I remember right, Easter 1977 was the last time I was there. The lower stretch at the car park in the village as it meets the Garry is fine though, but if my memory is right it is a wide, deep, clear, slow moving pool with big rocks. I never got round to fishing it though so I can't help in that way.

Never had any bother the front of the golf course. Only time I saw anybody they just watched me from the other side of the road for a bit then went away. They had launched two guys I was with for spinning further up though. I don't see the point in buying a permit for trout fishing on this stretch of water if the worst thing you are going to get is chucked off. They are only interedted in the Salmon poaching as far as I can see. Trout are an incidental to them. Just my opinion from the experience I had on in the last time admittedly in 09.

Under a PO you can be charged with a criminal offence for fishing for any freshwater fish, other than salmon, without written permission. The salmon come under their own legislation.
