Default Would you?

Hello
Ive just received an order form Sportfish that i placed monday...5 roman moser braided loops(trout).....in the package there are 4trout and 1 jumbo loop i believe.Im the type of person to say sod it and just get on with it,but its pee'd me off abit,no explanation of why(out of stock i presume),just packet and invoice.
I also ordered the loops a while ago, after 2-3 weeks of waiting i phoned them up,they were not in stock. They said they'd be in 2 more weeks....long story short, still didnt come canceled order.....I feel slightly embarrassed writing this post as its only 1 loop...but what would you do?

Hi gaz,
if it was me i would phone or email them and ask for my original order as if you bought them in a tackle shop and you noticed you had been given the wrong item you wouldnt just walk out with the wrong item you would say this isnt what i wanted!!!! This is just my advice you may feel diferantly
Regards,
Tom

If nobody complained about these things then they will keep on doing it. They will probably keep on doing it anyway but at least you can have a b****y good moan since you have tried...................birdsnest

email them and insist they send the correct item. Also ask for a prepaid envelope for the return of the other loop. Chances are they will say just keep the jumbo loop. You should look upon it as an opportunity ...

I've had a high opinion of Sportfish's mail order operation for a long time, but I now increasingly find that ordering from them is a bit of a lottery, with regular stockouts and having to wait for deliveries. Last time I phoned up to query one such, Sportfish sought to blame the supplier - but whose decision was it to put the item in their glossy catalogue and on their web site in advance of supply arriving ?

There's no question that Sportfish will correct the 'mistske', apologise profusely, and insist that you keep the Jumbo loop. Prone to cock-ups... aren't we all? Cowboys, they are not. Give them a quick bell and it wil be sorted in jiffy.
