Default which reel

hi, could anyone recommend a reel for my new 7ft 6 3wt rod, can get the vision gt for 75quid in a local shop so not really looking to go above that amount. Has anyone tried the vision gt?
any recommendations appreciated.

Which size Vision Pearse? the GT is a great underestimated reel IMO.

The GT2/4 is a smashing reel. An Orvis BBS (although slightly more expensive) should also be considered. Check out too, the smaller of the Salter reels, beautiful little thing

sorry its the 2#-4# vision gt that i was going to buy, ive heard its a nice wee reel

It is, very light, nicely made, good looking and a LA to boot, 87grams of magic.

I have a couple of the small Salters but not fished with them. Beautifully made, lovely gunmetal finish and quite a loud click.

think i might go for the vision. the wee salter is classic, but might look like an antique on my rod, would be nice on a cane rod.
