Looks a fantastic fishery with lovely surroundings I'd love to fish it but the distance from here to Devon is too far for a simple day out.

Have a great day on Saturday and let us know how you went on.

Kennick is usually stocked each week during the main season unless conditions such as water being too warm make it unwise. Bank fishing last weekend was a bit difficult though boat fishing over deep water can be productive on buzzers and diawl bachs. Michael Herring had a seven and a half pound fish on Saturday on a diawl bach.
If you are becoming a regular Kennick angler you should consider joining the Kennick Club, application forms are in the lodge or visit our website at Kennick Fly Fishers Association In recent years we were instrumental in building the Lodge and help to maintain the fishery. We also organise a wide range of activities including Flytying during the winter

I fish kennick about once a month sometimes more depending if i have the money to do so. I would have bought a season permit but what do you do with 12 fish every week lol. If it was a 6 fish every week season ticket i would be biting their hands off.

Yes i should really become a member and was talking to a member/tackle shop owner about it last week, but being a keeper aswell don't know how i would split my time lol

Yes i should really become a member but have never done so. I have fished kennick for 10 years on and off, but have never committed to fishing it every week. Hopefully now the kids are a little older i can get out a bit more. I try to get out at least once a month to kennick and mix in a few other fisheries aswell. I would buy a season ticket if it were only 6 fish weekly instead of 12. I don't have the room for that amount of fish and the misses would kick off coz of the amount of time i was fishing lol.
