Default Loch Skeen in the Borders

Haven't fished it for years due to I'll health so just wondered if anyone's fished it recently and if so, how's it doing these days ?

Loch Skeen is one of these places i've always fancied having a go at, but never get round to it .......hopefully one day.

It's a fair old hike to the loch.
Takes about 45 minutes at a steady pace, the first 20 minutes or so being really steep and quite dangerous in parts so not for the infirm or unfit but it's well worth the effort IMHO.
Many happy days spent up there in the past.
Not big fish but good sport in stunning surroundings.
The fishing had gone downhill a bit the last few times I fished it though so just wondered if anyone's been up lately.

Gentlemen, let's kick off by getting the spelling correct, for it is Skene, not Skeen.

And google maps also agrees it's Skeen.
However, there is a Loch of Skene just outside Aberdeen.

I think you'll find if you google both spellings you'll get many references to the same loch so there would seem to be no definite answer to this one.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
