Hi Gareth, don't know whether you've made your mind up about a 3 weight Fario, but John Niorris had an 'As New' 8' #2 in at £220 in the used section - I enquired about it but mistakenly thought it was a 4# (It was 4pc)

PM Toby (WCB or Funkyflytying on here) . He might be able to do you a decent price on one.

Thx for that Falsecast, but i wont buying straight away(im on sick after knee op,rugby injury),cheers.
Ive thought about the Haze Racha lovely looking reel, its just the orvis is smaller, lighter and £60-70 cheaper,so not sure lol.
If i go that way RRW ill def drop them a mail, much appreciated.
Ive been fishing since April and not once have i got onto my backing,or reel for that matter,so im struggling to justify spending nearly £200 on reel. But the Orvis seems a nice compromise, smaller and lighter than most and good quality if i ever do get that big fish that takes me to my reel.....sounds like ive made my mind up huh...ive got about 6 weeks to make a decision...thx again lads

I was looking at a Fario 9ft 6#, two weeks ago, and also tried the LPXe, really liked the Fario, great cosmetics, but in the end after the umming and arring, decided on the LPXe as it was about £60.00 cheaper and I would miss the £60.00 more than the nice burlwood reel seat and mayfly engraving, I'm very pleased with mine. I've been using it with a courtland DT6#, haven't tried a DT on it yet, the sales man at Sportfish told me to try a 5#DT.
