Might be heading to the river to fish for a week wondering if it's any good?

Is a tribrituary of the Whiteadder, which is a good salmon and sea trout river.(was once a premier spring salmon fishery)
Might be a better bet.
Trout fishing on both, 1lb class being a big un.
Black adder is small to medium river #4 or 5 weight for trout adequate.
If on Whiteadder #7 adequate for all species.
You are also in easy travelling distance of Whiteadder reservoir, bank and boat for wild browns 1 lb class again being a good un.!
Same applies to travel time to a couple of good rainbow waters, Watch reservoir at Longformacus, and Tweedale at Gifford, if you get bored with rivers!
Google all the names, will all have good web sites.
regards
bert
