..I went fishing on the river last night and enjoyed every minute, with having the problems with my leg and back, I've hardly been on the river even though if I went out of my front door and fell over twice I'd be in it, it's that close, with a good cast I could reach the river from my house, (with a beachcaster and a 6 ounce weight

). I had two hours down there and caught 37 trout and 2 grayling from a just a few ounces to about a pound, all went back, I missed a few too, the reflexes are a bit slow at the moment, hope they pick up, I saw kingfishers and an otter along with several sea trout jumping about, I've made some more flies today, Pheasant tail mymphs, Hares Ears and my own variation of the partridge fly which incidentally caught every fish last night and if the weather holds I might give it another go tonight, it was so good to be down there, getting re-acquainted with all the boulders I used to trip over

, I can't wait
