Default Hook point (magnifier)

Hi just bought one of these we saw them at the BFFI.
it seams a good bit of kit now comes with a paper disc that sticks in the tray and has graduated rings at 1mm apart so you can see the length of any small critters you care to view .
anyone else got one?

Interesting piece of equipment.

Do you intend using it just 'in the field' or for fly-tying also?

I think its small enough to carry around while fishing ,already been picking up dead flies in window bottom .lol.
it will be handy while trying to find out how a fly has been made.
will be handy while replacing watch battery`s , looking at the cutting edge of filleting knife ect.
finding that splinter in your finger.
the best thing about it is once you have set the focus you can go back to it and look again without messing about.
one more thing haggle on the price .
maybe they would do a club discount?

I use a Insect or bug viewer, little screw clear plastic top jar with a magnifying lense in the lid and a graduated scale on the base. £4 or so if i remember right.
