Default best Polaroid glasses?

What are the best Polaroid glasses on the market. Not looking to spend silly money. Cheers

Perhaps you should have asked what the best value polaroid glasses on the market are, as, unfortunately, with most things in life, the very best available do command 'silly money'.

For the record, I've been using glasses by Serengeti for the last 25 years, as I've found their (glass) lenses suit my eyes better than any other brand I've tried.

Before somebody picks me up on it, let me correct that last statement - 'polaroid' is actually a trade name and should have a capital 'P'. In any event, the word should have been 'polarising'.

Sorry to be pedantic but we may as well get it right.

post has been done before and the best is costa del mar.

The question i guess for most people should ask about their kit is if i lost it tomorrow would i then buy a replacement tomorrow. With costa del mar the simple answer is yes. I cannt say that about any other fishing kit including my rod

i use fathoms/ wavekillers in green lenses 400 version glass. but any of their glass green mirror 400 lenses are fine.

They do a lens called 580 which is more expensive claims etc giving you better vision and i do have a set of them but i cannt say the extra dosh you pay for the 580s is worth it. Stick with the 400s and get an extra fly line with the price difference.

Would I replace my Costas tomorrow if I lost them? With out a doubt.

They are hands down the best polaroids I have ever used.

Id have to say the same about my Costas as well.I use the Hammerhead 580 green mirror lenses mostly but for really dull/grey and lowlight I use the 400 sunrise lense.A really good value for money pair of sunnies are the Flyin Fisherman Calcutta model. These came out on top in a Troutfisherman test a while back. The test was open so all price ranges were included and I think that the Calcuttas got the edge over a pair of Bolle Boomslangs which were more than 3 times more expensive.

Another vote for Costas. I have a pair of Cins with 580 copper lenses. Ordered them from this place: Designer Sunglasses - United Kingdom's Best Prices on Ray Ban, Prada and More
some mixed review about customer service but I couldn't fault them.
Best
Dave
